Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance for operating units, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and foreign tax
- Review tax returns, tax computations, transfer pricing documentation, and related schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare tax advisory support on business transactions and identify tax planning opportunities to optimize tax outcomes
- Assess and manage tax risks and recommend practical solutions to support business objectives
- Lead tax audits, investigations, appeals and engagements with tax authorities and external advisors
- Provide technical guidance to tax and finance teams and drive continuous process improvements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tax-related matters and reporting requirements
- Maintain tax data and support tax analytics initiatives
Requirements
- Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or other related courses
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate environment and/ or professional services firm
- Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian taxation, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international tax matters
- Experience in managing tax audits, disputes, and stakeholder engagements
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience in tax data analytics, e-invoicing, and tax transformation initiatives
- Experience in managing tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions within a large corporate group

Skills Required
- Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
