Job Reponsibilities
- Manage preparation of monthly group financial statement for management and shareholders
- Coordinate with group / component auditors on the preparation of the Group’s statutory audit reports
- Manages financial statements and disclosures, including coordination and preparation of management discussion & analysis information
- Participate in the review of external department deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency with external filings and internal reports and documents, as well as compliance with rules governing non-IFRS metrics
- Provides technical advice and develops an implementation strategy for all accounting issues / changes, including those arising from changes in accounting principles and regulations (IFRS, SFRS, etc.), to ensure compliance.
- Oversee Group Treasury operations including daily liquidity management, intercompany funding, and cross-border repatriation of funds
- Prepare and maintain the Group cashflow forecasting model to support liquidity decision-making and working capital planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, negotiate rates and coordinate with Legal team on the structuring and documentation of facilities and covenants
- Monitor and manage Group’s facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, service accounts, and covenant compliance
- Oversee bank access, signatory matrices, and treasury governance, ensuring proper controls and segregation of duties across all banking entities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with prior Big 4 audit experience strongly preferred.
- Solid technical knowledge of IFRS / SFRS, with hands-on experience in complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Exposure to regional finance operations and/or group consolidation within a multi-entity or cross-border environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (or equivalent qualification).CA and/or CPA certification is required.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages will be an advantage.
