We are seeking to hire a Manager, Global Trade who will play a pivotal role in contributing to the continuous improvement of the Raytheon global trade program both inside the U.S. and internationally.

What You Will Do

• Be responsible for providing consistent interpretation under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to Business Unit employees. 
• Interface and provide Global Trade (GT) guidance to Raytheon (RAY) International Entities on compliance requirements for U.S. GT laws and regulations (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Customs, etc.) and RTX and RAY GT Program requirements.
• Complete GT in-person and/or virtual assessments of GT Program requirements for RAY International Entities to ensure appropriate controls have been implemented and integrated within the local business functions.
• Coordinate with other RAY GT Program Office (GTPO) teams and Global Implementation & Operations (GIO) teams to assist in the creation of GT assessment protocols.
• Assist in identifying and reporting compliance concerns and identifying errors/areas requiring improvement and implementing corrective actions to resolve problems. This includes reaching across the RAY International entity locations to ensure that issues/actions that arise at a different RAY entity are reviewed to ensure the issue is not systemic.
• Support management in investigating and resolving compliance matters, audits and investigations. 
• Apply international trade regulations to real-life situations to enable international business to support programs. 
• Coordinate with Raytheon GIO teams to ensure that Raytheon International Entity GT team members are connected and integrated into the applicable teams.
• Develop and deliver training as required for employees engaged in international business activities. 
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for all export/import licensing personnel.
• Use strong investigative skills to identify and pivot questions and assessment protocols based on information observed in-person or virtually to verify compliance
• Willingness to travel to Raytheon International Entity locations.

• You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the continuous improvement of the Raytheon GT Program both inside the U.S. and internationally.
• Build upon U.S. export control laws from an international (non-U.S.) perspective.
• Gain exposure to International GT laws from multiple countries.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience and application of US GT regulations (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Customs, etc.)
• Experience in drafting, submitting, implementing, and managing agreements, licenses, General Correspondences, Third Party Transfers, complex export strategies, and /or similar requests

• Ability to clearly communicate GT program requirements and identify areas that need improvement and develop and conduct stand-up training 
• Excellent customer relation/interpersonal skills to develop effective networks and partnerships 
• Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to interpret and implement GT regulations accurately 
• Strong attention to detail and time management to follow through and resolve situations that are ambiguous, incomplete while managing multiple high-priority needs

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
