Manager Global Technical Sales (Medical Device / Advanced Drug Delivery Systems)
- Actively market PCI as the most technically capable and innovative solution provider
- Identify potential targets, report on results, identify improvement initiatives to address gaps based on client feedback
- Author comprehensive and market differentiating proposals with Wow factor
- Lead and facilitate in-person sales/qualification activities to secure wins
- Orchestrate business development with technical client discussions and qualification activities. Organize internal technical SME's, rationalize PCI approach, engage teams to ensure high quality communication and action plans based on opportunity dynamics
- Suggest new proposed solutions and technologies to address market trends, gaps, innovations. Translate impact, investment needs, resource requirements to functional leads and site teams.
- Consult with clients to identify potential solutions and optimal product selection. Utilize unparalleled technical and industry knowledge to influence successful client outcomes.
- Orchestrate comprehensive proposal development to assure the right level of delivery & content for client. Ensure a difference maker solution to delight client and secure wins.
- Increase business efficiency: Increase total output of proposals as well as increased win percentage
- Gather, analyze and report on business opportunity status, wins/losses, gaps
- Support effort to incorporate next-gen approach to leverage capabilities of Salesforce.com and supplemental platforms (as applicable) in business reporting and business analytics
- Gather and report KPI's relative to goal attainment
- Identify gaps or opportunities
- Support and engender D&M/Clinical/Commercial sales-ops for business conversion of cross-segment integrated opportunities
- Gather client VOC feedback
- Help cultivate and engender service oriented business solutions for clients. Actively educate and sell solutions for clients in need.
- This position may require travel by car and/or airplane up to 50% This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 4-6 years related experience and/or training.
- College Level Mathematical Skills
- Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
- High standard of report writing.
