Position Overview

The Manager of Global Marine Insights supports Brunswick Corporation’s marine customer, consumer, and business insight initiatives. Reporting to the Director Consumer Strategy & Insights, this role collaborates with teams across Mercury Marine, Boat Group, Navico and Business Acceleration units.

This individual will assist in executing cross-divisional research projects, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that support Brunswick’s marine growth strategy. The role will contribute to building a strong foundation for consumer and customer understanding across the company’s marine brands.

Essential Functions:  

Consumer Insight Strategy Execution Support

  • Identify opportunities to elevate the customer experience across all brand touch points
  • Assist in implementing the marine insights strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Contribute to the development of research roadmaps and project plans.
  • Help track KPIs and success metrics related to customer experience and brand performance.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct and support qualitative and quantitative market research projects and analysis.
  • Analyze and connect data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that communicate insights and key takeaways clearly to business stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and service teams to integrate insights into business planning.
  • Support the development of customer journey maps and experience improvement initiatives.

Knowledge Management

  • Help maintain a centralized repository of research and insights.
  • Assist in synthesizing findings from multiple sources into cohesive narratives.
  • Promote the use of insights across teams by sharing best practices and learnings.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:  

  • 3–5 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related field.
  • Experience in industries such as consumer goods, retail, hospitality, or marine preferred.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis, and customer experience tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid (3 times per week)

The anticipated pay range for this position is $85,800 - $138,200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
