The Role

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Actions provides critical production support within the Global Corporate Actions Team. In this role, you will manage daily operational responsibilities including client inquiry resolution, project and process improvement initiatives, risk management activities, and the intake and implementation of new products and services—such as fund launches and event oversight. You will also perform additional tasks that support the broader Production teams.

This position requires frequent engagement with partners across the Fidelity organization, representing the business effectively to internal stakeholders, external clients, and key business partners.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of financial services experience, ideally within an asset manager or custodian bank, with exposure to corporate actions and mutual fund operations
  • 2+ years of experience directly related to Corporate Actions and/or Mutual Fund Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficiency across core functions of corporate actions research, solicitation, and processing
  • Strong understanding of custody operations, mutual fund processes, and the financial services landscape, including securities processing, cash movements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with transaction processing, including escrow of holdings and foreign currency exchange
  • Ability to resolve high‑priority issues raised by all lines of Asset Management (FMR, FIC, FMTC, SAI, FIAM, Geode) as well as External Managers
  • Knowledge of downstream impacts, workflows, and system dependencies across internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with management to identify and implement operational improvements
  • Strong awareness of risk exposure within processes and an ability to propose effective mitigation strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with key business partners
  • Leadership qualities with the capability to oversee daily workflow and support team success

The Team

The Global Corporate Actions team oversees all aspects of corporate action research and processing for assets across approximately $2 trillion in assets under management. This includes corporate actions that may impact securities valued at more than $1 billion at any given time.

As part of the Global Middle Office, the team serves as a centralized support hub for FMR Co.’s global trading desks—facilitating trade confirmation and settlement with brokers and custodians, delivering daily cash estimates to Trading, coordinating corporate action elections, ensuring timely income collection for the Funds, resolving complex position breaks, and supporting securities lending operations.
