Position Overview:
The Global Public Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how the world experiences Canada Goose. This position leads the development and execution of global PR strategies across key markets, working closely with the Global team and regional teams in North America, EMEA, Mainland China, and APAC to ensure one consistent, elevated brand voice across all communications and activations.
The person in this role will drive strategic communications planning, and crafts press materials that bring the brand’s purpose and products to life, from global launches, events and cultural moments to seasonal storytelling and retail expansion.
Strong writer and strong global leadership is required.
The ideal candidate is an experienced global communicator with developed press relationships, global agency management expertise, and an instinct for storytelling that bridges performance, luxury, culture, and commu.
What You’ll Do:
Global Strategy & Regional Alignment- Develop and execute global PR strategies that strengthen brand awareness, desirability, and cultural relevance across all markets.
- Partner with regional PR leads in North America, EMEA, and APAC to align local storytelling with global brand direction and seasonal priorities.
- Develop and manage the annual global PR calendar, ensuring alignment with key brand initiatives, product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Support regional markets with messaging frameworks, toolkits, and media guidance for key launches to ensure global consistency and excellence in execution.
- Identify and amplify global storytelling opportunities that highlight Canada Goose’s heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation.
- Monitor the luxury industry and cultural landscape for trends, providing insights and strategic recommendations on emerging talent, influencers and changes in the media landscape, staying ahead of PR trends and new talent.
- Act as a solution-oriented ambassador between cross-functional partners, including Regional Marketing, Global PR, Talent & Partnerships, Integrated Marketing, Social, Brand & Creative leads for alignment and brand cohesion.
- Manage PR budget and corresponding invoices.
- Oversee KPI process and work with regions to monitor monthly and yearly goals.
- Use analytics tools to assess share of voice reporting, press coverage, audience reach, and sentiment to optimize PR strategies.
- Prepare regular PR reports for internal stakeholders to showcase the effectiveness of media relations and campaign outcomes.
- Lead the creation of all global press materials, including press releases, media alerts, new store opening alerts and briefing documents, ensuring tone and structure reflect the brand’s elevated and purposeful voice.
- Drive regions to secure high-impact coverage that reinforces Canada Goose’s position as a leader in performance luxury and purposeful design.
- Partner with Senior Director overseeing relevant and disruptive brand experiences that aligned to key cultural moments and product launches; managing budgets and production partners.
- Develop press plans to support large scale global brand events, leveraging for brand storytelling and event coverage.
- In collaboration with Global Talent & Partnerships team, identify outlets and opportunities to leverage global ambassadors and talent.
- Manage and guide external PR agency, overseeing strategy and deliverables.
- Drive accountability and ensure agency partners deliver best-in-class results aligned with global objectives.
- Evaluate performance and integrate global learnings into future strategic planning.
- Partner with Talent & Partnerships, Social, Brand, and Retail Marketing teams to deliver integrated storytelling moments across channels.
- Collaborate with Creative and Product teams to translate seasonal themes and collections into compelling earned media strategies.
- Manage PR and event budgets with precision and transparency.
- Support key executives and spokespeople through media training, messaging development, and preparation for global events.
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in public relations, ideally within global fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands
- Proven experience leading PR campaigns across multiple regions (North America, EMEA, APAC)
- Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to craft narratives that align with brand purpose and tone
- Strong track record in developing and executing integrated, global PR strategies
- Established relationships with leading global media and a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape
- Demonstrated experience managing global agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams
- Strategic, collaborative, and creatively driven with a results-oriented mindset
