Job Title: Junior Plant Controller - GBS

Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Position at a Glance
The Junior Plant Controller - GBS will be an integral part of our Supply Chain Finance team in Mexico City, working within our Global Capability Center. This role is designed to support the Plant Controllers in managing financial reporting, planning, and accounting activities, including budgeting, month-end close processes, and driving cost productivity at our manufacturing plants in North America.
The Junior Plant Controller will assist in translating operational performance into actionable financial insights, supporting cost reduction initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiencies. This position reports directly to the Plant Controller and indirectly to the Supply Chain Finance Lead.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in finance or accounting, a desire to grow within a global organization, and a collaborative mindset to work across teams.
What's on Menu?
• Assist the Plant Controller - GBS in financial results management, highlighting risks and opportunities;
• Support the month-end closing process within the SAP Catalyst system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
• Support balance sheet accounts reconciliations;
• Contribute to cost forecasting and productivity pipeline analysis;
• Help monitor and provide insights on plant KPIs, focusing on cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements;
• Support the maintenance of financial standards, including financial BOMs (Bill of Materials);
• Collaborate with the Plant Controller and implement process improvement initiatives through KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management Systems);
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed;

1. Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
2. Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting Management;
• Good knowledge of manufacturing operations and product costing;
• Solid practical ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, etc.);
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA) and/or MBA in Accounting/Finance would be an asset;
3. Skills
• Demonstrated Project and Change Management abilities
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• Solid analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail;
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a global finance environment;
• Collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude;
