Krypton Fund Services is seeking an experienced Manager – Fund Services to oversee fund accounting, investor servicing, and client relationship management for a portfolio of private equity and alternative investment funds. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure high-quality service delivery, maintain strong client relationships, and drive operational excellence across the Fund Services function.

Experience with FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran) and FIS Digital Data Exchange (DDX) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Oversight & Ownership
•    Manage a portfolio of private equity and alternative investment fund clients, ensuring service excellence and timely delivery.
•    Own the delivery of NAV calculations, financial reporting, regulatory filings, and client deliverables.
•    Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines, SLAs, and internal quality standards.
•    Monitor team workloads and delivery pipelines.
•    Proactively manage operational risks and service delivery issues.

Review & Approval
•    Perform final review and approval of: 
         - NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations.
         - Investor transactions, subscriptions, redemptions, wire transfers, and related communications.
         - Financial statements prepared under IFRS, GAAP, or other applicable accounting standards.
Tax computations, regulatory filings, and reporting obligations.
•    Ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and audit ready.

Client Relationship Management
•    Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, auditors, banks, custodians, legal advisers, and other service providers.
•    Manage client queries and escalated matters in a timely and professional manner.
•    Participate in client meetings, fund launches, onboarding, and transition activities.
•    Support business development initiatives, client proposals, and new client onboarding opportunities.
•    Ensure high-quality client experience across all service areas.

Audit, Tax & Compliance Oversight
•    Serve as the lead contact for audit, tax, and compliance-related matters.
•    Ensure compliance with AML/KYC requirements and applicable regulatory obligations.
•    Oversee audit requests, tax filings, and remediation actions.
•    Monitor compliance risks and maintain effective controls.
•    Ensure timely resolution of audit and compliance matters.

Team Leadership & Performance Management
•    Lead, mentor, develop, and performance-manage Senior Associates and Associates.
•    Manage workload allocation, resource planning, and employee development.
•    Ensure deliverables are reviewed and meet required quality standards before submission.
•    Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives.
•    Escalate delivery, resources, and operational risks as appropriate.

Operational Control
•    Oversee fund cash movements, subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and wire activity.
•    Ensure accurate processing and settlement of management fees, performance fees, expenses, and debtor accounts.
•    Maintain strong operational controls and the integrity of financial transactions and records.
•    Support business continuity and risk management initiatives.
Process Improvement & Governance
•    Drive operational efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Strengthen review frameworks, controls, and quality assurance processes.
•    Identify opportunities for automation and enhanced system utilization.
•    Act as a subject matter expert for FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran) and FIS Digital Data Exchange (DDX).
•    Contribute to strategic projects, operational enhancements, and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Or professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent.
•    Minimum 7 years of experience within Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, or Private Equity Fund Services, including team leadership responsibilities.  Strong understanding of: 
      -  Private Equity and Alternative Investment Fund Structures
      -  Fund Accounting and Investor Servicing
      -  NAV Calculations
      -  Capital Calls and Distributions

      -  Waterfall Calculations
      -  Financial Reporting
      -  Fund Documentation
•    Proven experience using FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran) and FIS Digital Data Exchange (DDX).
•    Knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or private equity fund services
  • Experience with team leadership responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of private equity and alternative investment fund structures
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and investor servicing
  • Strong understanding of NAV calculations
  • Strong understanding of capital calls and distributions
  • Strong understanding of waterfall calculations
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and fund documentation
  • Proven experience using FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran)
  • Proven experience using FIS Digital Data Exchange (DDX)
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and relevant regulatory requirements
