Title and Summary

Manager, Franchise Management

Our Franchise foundation is the engine of Mastercard and a major differentiator for Mastercard, empowering our customers to enjoy unprecedented scale on our multi-faceted payments platform.
The mission statement of the Global Franchise Customer Onboarding & Partnership team is to maintain and enhance the Franchise foundation by understanding evolving business needs, providing customer focus lifecycle management and the discipline for scaled growth for partners, while ensuring ease of business with Mastercard and business optimization.
The role is focused on:
Lead end-to-end customer lifecycle management, including managing (complex) licensing, onboarding and registration activity via CRM principles for the West Arabia Division (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Bahrain, Jordan, Yemen, Palestine) with other divisions in EEMEA Region as deemed necessary for both traditional and new players, including:
-Fintechs
-Digital Activity Customers (review of entities requesting to become DWOs, on behalf token requestors, and merchant token requestors)
-Issuing/Acquiring
-Push Payments
-ACH/Open Banking (including RPPS/Bill Pay, and working to ensure compliant future processes for Open Banking customers)
-Merchants / Service Providers
Advise on Bin Sponsorship Programs, review Prepaid special issuer programs and Card Design reviews, and manage Mastercard Standards queries occasionally
Partner and Engage with Mastercard EEMEA customer facing country teams as well as Regional and Global cross functional stakeholders (e.g. AML, Treasury, Product, Legal, Customer Delivery, Products and Operations & Technology) to resolve customer issues
Point person for all Training and Communication needs in the Region. Identifying training needs - including development of Academy training sessions
Identify and contribute to the delivery of Franchise Solutions opportunities
Identify and communicate strategic opportunities for improvement and expansion in the EEMEA Region as input for the creation of new Franchise Solutions packages as well as other Franchise initiatives
Ensure successful go-to market implementation of global Franchise initiatives for the EEMEA Region
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Lead complex cross-functional projects locally and for several countries
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet project constraints
• Demonstrate success in building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Develop an understanding of global best practices within one or more areas, through experience working in a matrixed or global organization
• Successfully make sound, commercially-minded business decisions that are guided by Mastercard's values
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skill-sets and experience:
• Customer relationship management skills with a relentless focus on the Customer
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners
• Project management leadership experience
• Strong analytical and risk management skills, detail oriented and ability to operate effectively in a complex global and fast-paced environment
• Solutions oriented/ results driven capabilities
• Strategic thinker with ability to handle complex issues and understand implications regionally
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives while exercising sound judgment and flexibility
• Impeccable written/oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate processes and data in appealing storytelling (eg. in power point)
• Self-motivated, can work independently and cooperates well in a team
• Emerging markets work experience
• Experience in the payments industry is beneficial
• Proficient in English. Arabic is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s is a plus.
