As FP&A Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the Pattern’s growth well beyond on our current $2B valuation and will report to the Director of FP&A. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of an FP&A Manager?

Assist in managing financial processes including the following: operating plan, long-range planning, financial forecasts, month end close, management reporting, and board reporting

Refine Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement modeling, reporting, and analysis to be more accurate and ensure liquidity and flexibility for business investments

Develop accurate Short-term Cash Flow model along with reporting, and analysis to support operational cash needs
What will I need to thrive in this role?

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or other related field

6+ years of experience of relevant financial experience, including experience in FP&A

Strong proficiency in corporate finance concepts and systems

Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills

Outstanding communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders

Commitment to continuous improvement in processes, forecast accuracy, and key reporting metrics

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?

In the first 30 days, you'll familiarize yourself with all aspects of Pattern’s business with a focus on understanding the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement, as well as the people and processes in the Finance department

By day 60, you will also have identified key areas that need improvement in Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement forecasting and analysis and started to build good working relationships with key stakeholders

Within the first 90 days, you will have already implemented some of the tactical improvements to the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement and built a Short-term Cash forecast model

The Finance team is dynamic and responsive, dedicated to supporting smart business growth while developing world-class systems and processes, all while fostering a culture of learning and enjoyment
You will report to the Director of FP&A and work closely across Business and Finance teams to advise, forecast accurately, and report on performance. This role is critical to growing and expanding the finance team to handle the rapid business growth in a responsible way
