The Opportunity:

At commercetools, we are a mission-driven organization in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Finance team plays a key role in supporting our ambitious value creation agenda.

As our FP&A Manager, you will work closely with our business leaders and key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making as well as performance management. You will also play an important role in the steering and execution of our budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as driving the continuous adoption of state-of-the-art FP&A tools.

Your Mission:

  • Support the C-Level and management team in their operational and strategic decision-making through high-quality financial analysis and insights
  • Coordinate reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes and drive the continuous adoption of state-of-the-art FP&A tools
  • Build and prepare monthly and quarterly board reports and presentations for both the management team as well as our investors 
  • Drive operational excellence across our existing finance tools (NetSuite, Pigment, Rydoo, etc.) and support the evaluation and implementation of new solutions
  • Collaborate with our Business Intelligence team, compile profound analytical insights and effectively synthesize and communicate them

What you need to succeed:

  • 6+ years of broad-based (Corporate) Finance experience in an international corporation (SaaS/Tech), (transaction) consulting or investment banking 
  • Strong analytical mindset and facility with numbers and data sets 
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills (structuring, analysis, synthesis)
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting
  • Strong financial modeling skills (P/L, BS and CF) and ideally experience with Pigment
  • Innovative, action-oriented and solution-minded team player
  • Strong project management skills, drive and ownership
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) to support collaboration across teams

Nice to have:

  • German language skills, written or verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proficiency in an ERP system, ideally NetSuite
