The Role
Manages life sciences forecasting client engagements, including forecast model development, client communication, timelines, quality control, and delivery of client-ready analyses. Leads commercial demand, patient-based, operational, valuation, and scenario forecasts supporting product strategy and planning. Serves as a client point of contact, presents findings, partners with leadership and functional experts, manages junior staff, and contributes to forecasting best practices, training, and strategic initiatives.

  • Provide on-site support to clients when applicable

  • Work closely with other functional experts at Trinity including market research, data solutions, statistics, etc.

  • Develop client-ready forecasts and supporting materials independently and clearly present findings

  • Establish timelines for internal and external deliverables

  • Drive internal communication to keep all team members in the loop with project status

  • Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned

  • Help train junior members of forecasting team

What You'll Bring
  • 5-6 years of work experience in life sciences forecasting. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and analytics is preferred.
  • BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields

  • Deep forecasting expertise across commercial demand forecasting, business development valuations, net present value (NPV) assessments, supporting long-range and short-range strategic planning cycles.

  • Experience in designing, building, and deploying patient-based, patient flow, and operational forecasts.

  • Experience partnering with commercial and business leaders to develop forecasts that inform product strategy, resource allocation, investment decisions, and portfolio planning.

  • Ability to lead forecast development through annual planning, latest estimate cycles, and scenario-based analyses while communicating insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong quantitative and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to connect forecast outcomes to broader business objectives.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with MS Excel (knowledge of VBA is preferred)

  • Superb internal and external communications skills (verbal and written)

  • Self-motivation, initiative, and innovation

  • Strong, service-oriented work ethic and willing to go above the call of duty

  • Internal leadership and mentorship

  • Strong team player with experience working in project-team environments

  • Ability to multi-task on multiple project types effectively in a fast-paced environment

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 - $175,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.

Skills Required

  • 5-6 years of work experience in life sciences forecasting
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative, business, or related field
  • Deep expertise in commercial demand forecasting, business development valuations, NPV assessments, and strategic planning cycles
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying patient-based, patient flow, and operational forecasts
  • Experience partnering with commercial and business leaders to develop forecasts for product strategy, resource allocation, investment decisions, and portfolio planning
  • Ability to lead forecast development through annual planning, latest estimate cycles, and scenario-based analyses
