The Manager, Fixture Support is accountable for leading and overseeing fixture Ordering and fixture coordination activities across all banners, including Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek, Mark’s and Party City. This role provides people leadership to the Fixture Procurement Lead(s) and Fixture Coordinator team, while owning overall execution quality, consistency, and scalability of fixture ordering and support across capital projects, rollouts, and fleet initiatives.

The role ensures fixtures are accurately specified, ordered, tracked, and delivered within approved budgets and timelines, and that stores are supported through openings, renovations, and rollouts. The Manager, Fixture Support plays a critical cross-functional leadership role across Store Planning, Design, Construction, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and external vendors.

  • Provide direct people leadership, coaching, and performance management for Fixture Procurement Lead(s) and Fixture Coordinators
  • Oversee end-to-end fixture ordering and coordination activities across all banners to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Ensure approved fixture plans, standards, and scopes are translated into timely and accurate purchase orders
  • Establish and enforce standardized processes, controls, and checkpoints across procurement and coordination workflows
  • Ensure fixture orders are aligned to approved financial targets, project assumptions, and construction schedules
  • Act as an escalation point for complex fixture issues impacting store readiness, cost, or schedule
  • Partner closely with Store Planning, Design, Construction, Operations, and Merchandising leadership to align priorities and execution
  • Oversee vendor performance and support issue resolution related to quality, delivery, and service levels
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, late-stage changes, and execution risk
  • Support enterprise rollouts, refresh programs, return to vendor and capital initiatives across all banners

What you bring:
 

  • Proven experience leading teams in fixture procurement, store development, retail operations, or capital project execution
  • Strong understanding of fixture planning, store construction timelines, and retail project delivery
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills, including coaching, prioritization, and workload management
  • Ability to lead through influence in a highly cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, commitments, and trade-offs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex execution challenges
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across banners and project types
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
  • Ability to navigate multiple procurement systems (e.g. Peoplesoft, Coupa and Lucernex) to support and troubleshoot issues with Fixture Coordinators

Broadband Salary Range: $79,000.00 – $131,000.00. 
 

Our typical hiring range is between $79,000 and $105,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
