The Manager Financial Systems, OneStream is primarily responsible for providing ongoing support on the monthly financial close process, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting; maintenance, support and administration of the OneStream applications; assisting in timely preparation of financial reporting for both internal and external reporting processes; leading continuous process improvement initiatives; and providing training and overall system guidance for the Corporate and opco finance teams. The Manager Financial Systems, OneStream must possess expertise in understanding financial acumen and ability to interpret the business needs and requirements and translating into functional solutions. In this role the Manager Financial Systems, OneStream will ensure compliance with all the change control procedures, standard operating procedures in support of requested changes and development of new requirements.
This position is part of the Corporate Finance organization and reports to the VP of Finance and Corporate Controller of Danaher. It has one direct report and will be located remotely.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide ongoing support for the financial close process, OneStream applications, financial reporting and leading continuous process improvement initiatives. This would include creating and leading training programs and overseeing process documentation.

Administration of the OneStream software would include daily administration of security, input forms, reports, application maintenance, administration of mapping from source systems and issue resolution. Creating and maintaining system and excel reports linked to OneStream.

Perform troubleshooting and technical assistance for OneStream end users by evaluating problem situations in depth, arriving at conclusions leading to problem resolution and documentation.

Provide oversight on system development and maintaining financial controls related to SQL databases in addition to design and development of financial processes into system build blueprint.

Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Operations, Business Leaders and GL technical teams to collect business requirements and translate into specifications for solution design (concept to production). This would also include being the primary point of contact with OneStream and coordinating across Danaher for system implementations, upgrades and Marketplace solutions. Additionally, this person would coordinate with external consultants to perform required updates.
The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, MIS or related field with 14+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 12+ years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 9+ years experience.

Business subject areas required, with a strong Information Technology aptitude.

Hands-on administration experience with OneStream software or comparable consolidation software with strong financial acumen and ability to translate business needs into a functional systemic solution.

Ability to work independently in a global, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent executive presence, communication and relationship building skills.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to attend bi-monthly meetings in the Washington DC office.

Ability to travel globally as needed to attend meetings at various locations.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Ability to work in close collaboration with the Finance stakeholders and interact with a diverse group of Subject Matter Experts within Finance and IT, to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of the system investments.

Knowledge of SOX ITGC compliance standards and ability to work with auditors to execute requirements, maintain documentation and follow controls.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
