Manager, Financial Reporting

What You Will Do 
In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results. 

• Manage the preparation and review of consolidated U.S. GAAP financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex topics including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 842 (Leases), and accounting for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible assets. 

• Coordinate external audit activities and serve as the primary contact for auditors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of requests. 

• Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards, providing technical guidance across the organization. 

• Oversee aspects of the monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and internal financial reporting. 

• Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. 

• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting expertise on business initiatives and projects. 

• Mentor and guide staff to support professional growth and high performance. 

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within financial reporting. 

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

In addition to that, we require: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA). 

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate accounting. 

• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience applying U.S. GAAP including ASC 606, ASC 842, and accounting for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible assets. 

• Proven experience preparing GAAP financial statements and supporting external audits. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external parties. 

We will give special consideration to candidates who have: 

• Experience in telecommunications, technology, or related industries. 

• Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems and financial reporting tools. 

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software. 

• Exposure to process improvement, automation, or technology initiatives within accounting and reporting.
