Overview of Position:

The Manager, Financial Reporting will be responsible for managing the following functions: group consolidation, external (shareholder/lender) reporting, monthly board reporting and standard suite of management reports, technical accounting, external audit management, compliance with Accounting Standards, maintenance of all required records and work papers, review and modification of appropriate accounting policies, financial controls and process improvements.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and coordinate financial statements, shareholder reporting and disclosure in compliance with relevant regulatory and BoD requirements from time to time.

  • Interpret International Accounting Standards and/or US GAAP to lead technical accounting assessments and adoption of the necessary accounting standards.

  • Prepare and coordinate financial board reports

  • Manage timely and accurate monthly reporting process to drive diagnosis of results in order to explain and quantify variances.

  • Complete review of consolidation accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for Corporate topside entities.

  • Review and contribute to any public reporting of annual and interim results announcements, and provide information in support of press releases, if required.

  • Oversee audit engagement and ensure audit plans are managed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

  • Work with Regional Shared Services Leaders to ensure compliance of local accounting standard, tax laws, auditing and/or local company requirements.

  • Standardize and improve performance measures and analytical methods, to ensure integrity of information, and to ensure the use of performance measures that are consistent and meaningful to senior management

  • Support M&A activities and/or other commercial projects as assigned to enhance business growth potential. Integrate acquisitions into month end reporting requirements and policy alignment; purchase price accounting valuation and assessing opening balance sheet adjustments.

  • Support the Implementation and documentation of a formal accounting policies and procedures.

  • Support Group Tax and Treasury matters, working with the Treasury and Tax teams to optimize the financial outcomes for the Group.

  • Contribute as required to corporate finance models; conduct due diligence and monitor financial process and system integration.

  • Contribute as required to the development and preparation of financial budgets and forecasts that are structured so as to facilitate efficient and meaningful performance reporting.

  • Develop strong relationships with executives both within and outside the finance department, and maintain open flow of communication, enabling deep knowledge of current events in the business.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • CPA certification

  • 5+ years progressive experience in accounting roles within professional service firm

  • Public company experience with knowledge of SEC filings, and shareholder, Board of Directors, and management reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance theory with the ability to perform complex financial analyses

  • Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards, US GAAP and control governance

  • Experience of ERP, CRM and group reporting tools

  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Provide high quality of information and systems

  • Navigate through a complex legal entity structure
