Ideal Candidate
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end close management.

  • Expertise in financial controls, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting, Accounting and external audits

  • Own the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely completion of journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal financial controls.

  • Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, business performance dashboards, and financial insights to management.

  • Analyze monthly financial variances, identify key business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Manage investor reporting and other management reporting requirement

  • Manage all external audits, Including statutory audit of all group entities

Accounting Governance & Controls

  • Establish and monitor robust accounting controls and reporting processes.

  • Ensure timely completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Coordinate statutory and internal audit requirements and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Working Capital Management

  • Monitor key working capital metrics including receivables, payables, cash flow, and cash conversion cycle.

  • Drive initiatives to optimize working capital and improve cash flows.

  • Partner with business teams to improve collections, payment cycles, and cash utilization.

ERP Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Lead ERP optimization and finance transformation initiatives.

  • Drive automation and standardization of finance processes.

  • Improve reporting efficiency, governance, and data quality.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Financial Reporting team.

  • Allocate responsibilities, review deliverables, and ensure timely completion of accounting and reporting activities.

  • Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA).

  • 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting, accounting, controllership, or corporate finance.

  • Strong experience in month-end close, financial reporting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and accounting operations.

  • Prior experience leading finance teams is preferred.

Skills Required

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
