Position Overview:

This position will be within RTR’s FP&A team which is central to strategic decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for core parts of RTR’s business - Operations (Warehouse Labor & Fulfillment, Transportation) and Company Wide Operating Expenses. The position will be highly cross-functional across RTR’s supply chain. This position plays a vital role in achieving our strategic goals, will have direct interaction with the C-suite and as such the incumbent should have an entrepreneurial drive, be able to interact with a variety of people, develop and maintain complex models, demonstrate flexibility, and meet rapid deadlines.

The position will have the support of a Senior Analyst, who will report into this role as their manager.  

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the Supply Chain teams to track, project and optimize labor, transportation and fulfillment. 
  • Performing strategic analysis and modeling to help inform the above teams in key business decisions.
  • Presenting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data to senior leadership - partnering closely with key leaders to impact strategic business decisions.
  • Owning budgeting process for Operations and G&A including annual review and analysis, assigning department specific budgets, and tracking monthly/quarterly actuals vs. budget.
  • Lead cost efficiency initiatives across operations, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify savings opportunities and support execution 
  • Build scenario-based models linking operational drivers to financial outcomes to facilitate decision making across cost, service, and capacity
  • Analyzing competitor performance and market trends.
  • Establishing and reporting key operating metrics used to drive the business to greater efficiency.
  • Preparing and delivering daily, weekly and monthly management reports to key constituents.
  • Functioning effectively in an especially fast-paced start-up operating environment, managing time effectively to address high priority items in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in preparation of materials for Earnings and Board of Director meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • 4+ years of finance and strategic analysis experience in banking or an operational role.
  • Experience with detailed cost, labor, inventory or transportation data & model building preferred.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and model building.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,800 to $123,500. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
