Job Summary
Cardinal Health at-Home Solutions provides direct-to-patient delivery of medical supplies and equipment, serving over 5 million patients annually to manage chronic conditions and support hospital-at-home programs. This business is launching a multi-year transformation to modernize our Finance and Accounting system with the implementation of Oracle Fusion. To support this effort, we are seeking an experienced Manager, Finance and Accounting Transformation to serve our finance and accounting workstreams.
This role will support the functional design, cross-functional alignment, data readiness, process redesign, controls, testing, and go-live readiness for the Oracle ERP implementation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future-state financial architecture and drive long-term operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Program Execution & Coordination
Support the Finance/Accounting ERP workstreams as a functional lead, coordinating day-to-day activities across IT, implementation partners, and business stakeholders
Manage execution of deliverables, including tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution within the finance domain
Escalate key risks and decisions to leadership with recommended actions
- Oracle ERP Functional Support
Lead detailed design and configuration support across GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and related modules
Translate business requirements into system configurations aligned with Oracle Fusion capabilities, accounting policies, and best practices
Maintain and support key structures (e.g., chart of accounts, ledgers, calendars, intercompany flows, subledger-to-GL mappings)
Evaluate design options and provide recommendations to balance reporting, operational, and compliance requirements
- Accounting & Controls Execution
Ensure system configurations and processes adhere to GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements
Review journal entries, workflows, and approval structures for accuracy and compliance
Support month-end close design and execution readiness within the ERP environment
- Data, Testing & Go-Live Readiness
Execute data conversion activities including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for Finance/Accounting, ensuring defects are tracked and resolved
Support cutover planning and execution, including readiness for close and subledger transitions
Participate in hypercare support, helping resolve post-go-live issues
- Change Management & Team Enablement
Support adoption of new processes, roles, and systems within Accounting and Finance teams
Partner with training and PMO teams to develop and deliver training materials and documentation
Communicate updates, risks, and impacts clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement
Support stabilization activities during initial close cycles post-go-live
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiencies
Maintain and enhance finance system processes and data integrity over time
Contribute to ongoing optimization initiatives and system enhancements
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in finance and/or finance operations, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a highly matrixed environment; experience in a public company or SOX-compliant organization, preferred
Experience participating in or supporting one or more full-cycle ERP implementations; exposure to Oracle, strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Oracle (or similar ERP systems) with ability to apply functionality to business processes
Solid understanding of core accounting processes, including financial close, revenue recognition, fixed assets and leases, intercompany, consolidations, audit, and internal controls
Experience coordinating with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to deliver project objectives
Demonstrated ability to support system implementations and process improvements that enhance financial reporting accuracy, efficiency, and close timelines
Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
