The Manager – Finance Transformation position plays a crucial role in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification of opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, developing practical solutions to streamline financial operations and processes.
- Coordinate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial processes. Manage projects related to Oracle functionalities to improve financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting processes, etc. and ensure data accuracy and system integration. Manage testing and roll-out of Oracle regular releases.
- Collaborate with a broad array of cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of financial processes to achieve seamless end-to-end processes to meet overall business objectives. The teams cover finance and non-finance teams, project team, consultants, application managed support team, to name a few.
- Collaborate with process owners, provide deep dive analysis and review of production issue, drive effort to define options to improve and support implement new financial processes. Conduct regular assessments of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and manage the launch of process improvement / new processes with a detailed plan that outlines deliverables, timelines, milestones and business cases, including collaborating with Digital team to develop technical solutions.
- Manage and provide professional advice to SME on training programs within finance on best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Support for relevant policies and procedures roll-out governing financial operations, as well as internal controls and governance requirements.
- Prepare and monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvements, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Provide professional advice and support to internal users on best practices and Oracle capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology discipline, and professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience with accounting background and hands-on experience in process improvement.
- Proactive, independent, flexible and able to work under pressure in meeting time schedules.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion & EPM, including system configuration, customization, and enhancement projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge in Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Query would be an added advantage.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology discipline
