The Marketing Strategy & Analysis team is looking for a talented Manager. In this role, we’re looking for a big-picture thinker, a self-starter, and an analytical thought partner who will identify opportunities for improvement and set high-level strategy in our emerging business areas. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace ambiguity and change.

The position is based in our Los Angeles office (hybrid Tues-Thurs in-office), and will report to the Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy, Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up foundational databases to enable a deeper understanding of our marketing footprint across channels, in collaboration with our data engineering team

  • Develop metrics that allow us to understand the impact of various marketing tactics at scale, partnering with our analytics, consumer insights, and business teams

  • Work with the brand partnerships team to drive more ad revenue from our custom, sponsorship, and live ad packages

  • Analyze viewing behavior at large to inform marketing campaign strategies

  • Influence internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization to take action on business opportunities based on insights generated

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy and analytics (e.g., consulting, strategy & operations). Prior experience in marketing is a plus (but not required)

  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviors and discovery habits within entertainment, understands how those intersect with content catalog and services

  • Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains and keep up with industry innovation 

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive alignment amid ambiguity

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively influence and contribute with concrete recommendations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000.00 - $370,000.00.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
