Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Manager, Finance Arc’teryx Korea and key partner to the Head of Finance, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial data by governing general ledgers, financial statements, and tax functions in collaboration with external accounting partners.Working closely with and supporting the Head of Finance, you will lead the end-to-end processes for annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning (LTSP) to drive informed business decisions and outstanding results. Additionally, you will assist the Head of Finance in serving as a crucial conduit between Global HQ and the Korea team to effectively drive corporate financial governance and initiatives
- Act as the primary corporate liaison and oversee the day-to-day deliverables of the outsourced Shared Service Center to ensure alignment with company timelines and service standards.
- Conduct rigorous, comprehensive reviews of monthly financial data, general ledgers, and financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and strict compliance with local and corporate accounting policies.
- Partner closely with the external service provider to streamline and optimize the closing processes.
- Review and ensure timely compliance with local tax functions (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholding taxes) in coordination with external tax advisors.
- Lead the construction, consolidation, and tracking of the annual budget, quarterly rolling forecasts, and variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual).
- Support the Head of Finance in developing long-term five-year sales plan for Korea, responsible for maintaining the plan, articulating key sales growth drivers to leadership including quantification of investment required to support long term strategy.
- Prepare clear financial performance packages and actionable commentary for local and region leadership.
- Participate as a core finance team representative in the upcoming SAP implementation project—contributing to business blueprinting, local data mapping, and standard operating procedure (SOP) alignments.
- Standardize and optimize financial workflows during the system transition to ensure seamless business continuity.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. (AICPA, KICPA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred).
- You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in corporate finance and accounting (Experience in multinational corporate environments or Big4 is an asset).
- You have strong background in financial data review, accounting governance, and working with external professional service firms.
- You have advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and Microsoft Excel skills (Experience with SAP S4 HANA, Oracle, and Power BI is an asset).
- You have strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- You are fluent in both English and Korean (written and verbal).
