Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting for domestic and FCRA transactions in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain accounting records in Tally/ERP in line with accounting principles.
- Monitor fund utilization and project-wise accounting, including CSR and donor-funded projects.
- Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and Income Tax provisions applicable to NGOs.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, GST reconciliation, and annual GST return.
- Support filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) of the organization.
- Maintain records related to CSR funds, donor grants, and project expenditures.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for labour law compliances and statutory deductions.
- Assist in statutory, internal, and donor audit documentation.
- Maintain financial documentation and compliance records for regulatory reporting.
Requirements
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of NGO accounting, CSR funds, and fund utilization tracking
- Familiarity with FCRA accounting and compliance
- Experience with GST returns, GST reconciliation, and TDS compliance
