Manager, Finance (Business performance, Budget & Funds Transfer Pricing)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

FTP Calculation and Reporting:

• Preparation of monthly FTP report, forecast, budget and any ad-hoc simulations in relating with changes to FTP methodology, SRR, HO FTP and NSF computations.
• Preparation and analysis of rate, volume analysis for FTP analysis
• Provide guidance and supervision to the team in generating the monthly FTP report, periodic forecast, annual budget and ad-hoc simulation due to change of FTP methodology.
• Review of Business Units FTP reporting requirements and provide support and analysis in promoting business growth covering Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
• Participate in the development and implementation of business models for use in targeted products and customer segment in FTP reporting.
• Ensure financial data are reconciled with the GL system in the KRM FTP system.
• Yearly assessment/ independent review on product hurdle rate/ annual pricing review

System Development and Automation:

• To work on utilizing the system’s capabilities to cater for FTP forecast based on vintage and new sales so that FTP forecast would be more accurate and reliable
• Working closely with K Navitas on the LCR (Inflow cashflow) and FTP calculator for the Group Finance Automation Project, which includes data and results tabulation and requirement on the FTP calculations
• UAT testing to ensure results/ reports built from FTP calculator matches to reported numbers
• Automation of the monthly FTP and LCR reporting via Finance Automation Project
• New products and parameters setup according to the latest approved FTP rules and Framework in KRM FTP system.
• Liaise with GITI EDW, IT Security on any issues pertaining to FTP data, request USERID and updates of FTP modules as required in KRM FTP system.

Stakeholder Engagement and Support:

• Liaise with Business Units / GALCO / Business Finance Team /GITI and to cater for the FTP requirements in the KRMFTP system according to the approved FTP Methodology.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a quantitative discipline (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics).
• Preferably with ACCA/CPA and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. FRM; PRMIA; CFA).

Experience

• 8 years and above relevant work experience; within the Banking/Finance/Insurance Industry is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (i.e Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
