- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including the preparation of annual and quarterly reports, GST filings, and other regulatory compliance.
- Track and manage client invoices, ensuring timely payments and following up on overdue accounts.
- Draft and send communications to clients regarding outstanding invoices and other financial matters
- Ensure all financial practices are following legal requirements and industry standards
- Act as an interface between the company and external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor and evaluate the services provided by our accounting and consulting firm, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements
- Handle payroll compliance, petty cash, including TDS and other legal requirements
- Ensure company compliance with statutory laws such as Company Law, Income Tax, Service Tax etc.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior management to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in a small company where the candidate played a main finance role
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and legal compliance
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end financial activities
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong self-starter qualities
- Experience working closely with senior management, especially the CEO
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
