Position Summary

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of marketing? As a Field Marketing Manager (FMM) at Constellation Brands, you will be the driving force behind our marketing efforts within your assigned territory. You will work closely with the Field Marketing Director to plan, develop, manage, and evaluate marketing plans and budgets. Your role will be pivotal in sourcing and executing regional marketing opportunities that align with our strategy and support our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovative Marketing Execution: Plan and execute National Marketing Programming at the regional level, ensuring alignment with brand, channel, and DMA priorities.

  • Strategic Initiative Development: Leverage consumer insights and segmentation research to create actionable regional initiatives that drive business unit marketing and sales objectives.

  • Annual Planning: Develop comprehensive annual plans that support key sales and marketing initiatives, including national programming, regional sponsorships, and media execution.

  • Resource Management: Oversee Local Marketing Funds (LMF) allocation, financial forecasts, budget reviews, and adherence to company and regulatory policies.

  • Opportunity Evaluation: Source and evaluate local marketing opportunities, including media buys, sponsorships, retail extensions, and experiential marketing programs, ensuring brand fit and ROI.

  • Compliance and Legal Approval: Ensure all programming is vetted, legally approved, and compliant with marketing policies.

  • Agency Collaboration: Write program briefs, provide feedback to agencies, and collaborate with Corporate Marketing to enhance programming.

  • Media and Social Media Management: Negotiate and execute media merchandising programs, monitor media partners, and oversee regional social media initiatives to increase consumer engagement.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of local, state, and federal beverage laws in developing and implementing marketing programs.

  • Field Coordination: Work with field sales representatives to manage in-market needs, including events, sponsorships, and retail promotion overlays.

  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain constant communication with key stakeholders and submit regular programming execution evaluations and updates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a related role, preferably in the beverage alcohol industry.

  • Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.

  • Creativity and ability to follow through on marketing projects from inception to completion.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and comfort with public speaking.

  • Successful track record of working with professional sports franchises, music/event venues, and large-scale special events.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to additional software programs.

  • Confident, proactive, creative, and collaborative style.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Highest degree of ethics and professional conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Beverage Alcohol industry subjective matter expertise

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Remote work position - PST time zone preferred

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended periods.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 40%.

The salary range for this role is:

$100,600.00 - $157,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
