Job Purpose:
The Manager role is designed to provide leadership in driving high-impact, data-driven projects and provide independent, actionable insights across multiple areas of commercial strategy, field force operations, and customer-centric solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, agile thinking, and the capability to manage complex stakeholder relationships globally. The Manager will guide and deliver solutions for customer segmentation, profiling, targeting, local resource allocation, sales force design, and operational effectiveness in collaboration with business units and cross-functional teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead Independent Projects: Drive and deliver projects with minimal oversight, ensuring high-quality solutions to customer needs, including:
- Commercial strategy design
- Field force sizing, structuring (sales force, medical teams, access)
- Resource optimization leveraging advanced analytical methods
- Segmentation, targeting, profiling, and call plan design
- Design of incentive schemes and payout strategies
- Ad-hoc projects addressing local business challenges through data analytics and benchmarking.
- Stakeholder Management: Be SPOC for country stakeholder and effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across global and regional teams. Ensure clear, actionable communication and alignment on project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
- Independent Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to deliver solutions to complex business and operational problems. Use on-the-go thinking to adapt to dynamic situations and lead with agility.
- Commercial Insights: Deliver insights into questions related to commercial excellence through independent analysis of available data.
- Team Management: Be a role-model to junior team members. Offer mentorship, guidance, and professional development while ensuring high performance and productivity within the team.
- Process Optimization & Quality Assurance: Develop and implement process flows, quality checklists, and operational standards to ensure the efficient delivery of services and adherence to global best practices.
- Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge repositories to capture quantitative and qualitative reports on field excellence trends and share best practices across the global network.
- Operational Governance: Collaborate with regional and country leadership to support operational governance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement & Growth: Promote knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the quality and capability of the team, ensuring consistent growth and improvement across functions.
- Compliance & Ethical Standards: Ensure compliance with all Sandoz operating procedures, maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring adherence to legal, IT, and HR requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum Requirements:
Educational Background: Graduate in an analytical field/ data science/ Life Sciences/ Pharmacy/ Medicine/ Science & Technology
Languages: Fluency in English is prerequisite, while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage
Experience:
- Experience (5+ years) in commercial execution/ design/ management consulting or pharmaceutical company
- Should have an understanding of pharmaceutical business including its commercial operations
- Experience in leading project teams
- Proven track record of delivery analytics, SFE and insights for field excellence and/or data enabled solutions
- Ability to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Strong analytical thinking with problem solving approach
- Should have worked in an international company with exposure to working in cross-cultural environment
- Should be customer service oriented and consultative solution delivery
- Strong and proactive business results-focus, and proven ability to provide insights that increase productivity
