This role serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Transformation & Enablement, working across multiple business teams to drive executive communications and leadership engagement. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape executive agendas, synthesize complex business initiatives into clear leadership narratives, and develop high-impact presentations and briefing materials.  Success in this role requires exceptional PowerPoint design and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical or operational concepts into concise, compelling messages that enable informed decision-making. This individual will ensure leadership meetings are well-structured, aligned to business priorities, and focused on driving action.

Responsibilities
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, briefing documents, and leadership communications.
  • Translate complex business initiatives, risks, and opportunities into clear, concise executive narratives.
  • Create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that communicate key messages with clarity and impact.
  • Prepare senior leaders with talking points, key messages, anticipated questions, and decision frameworks.
  • Establish consistent messaging across leadership forums and stakeholder groups. 
  • Executive Agenda Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define agendas for executive leadership meetings and governance forums. 
  • Gather inputs across organizations and synthesize diverse perspectives into cohesive discussion materials. 
  • Ensure executive meetings are aligned to strategic priorities, decision points, and desired outcomes. 
  • Coordinate pre-read materials and executive briefings to improve meeting effectiveness. 
  • Build strong relationships across business functions to understand priorities, dependencies, and emerging issues. 
  • Connect workstreams into a cohesive executive narrative that supports transformation objectives. 
  • Act as a trusted communications partner to senior leaders, helping simplify complex topics for executive audiences.
Qualifications

Required
 

  • Demonstrated experience creating executive-level presentations for VP, SVP, and C-suite audiences. 
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for visual storytelling and executive presentation design. 
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable executive communications. 
  • Experience partnering with multiple teams to gather information, align messaging, and develop leadership agendas. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Experience supporting executive meetings, governance forums, or leadership operating rhythms. 
     

Preferred
 

  • Experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, business management, or executive communications. 

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
