The Manager, Executive Accounts role will be responsible for engaging industry-leading Buying Executives to attend assigned events. As the main contact and direct liaison to our Buying Executives, this role is also responsible for attendee support and general administration, including managing pre-event and onsite details and logistics and maintaining our internal CRM to target and monitor invitee engagement.

 The Manager, Executive Accounts is a business development and client relationship management position which is a multi-faceted position of project management combining sales, marketing, operations, and account management responsibilities. This role must effectively recruit and support senior level Buying Executive audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire senior level executives to attend assigned Events
  • Meet Buying Executive attendee goals for assigned Events
  • Develop relationships with attendees to understand their role, interests, etc.
  • Document and update forecast, confirmations, and marketing activities in Salesforce; Ability to communicate status of pipeline and next marketing steps on a weekly basis
  • Make weekly outbound telephone calls to maintain and close business, including cold calling and follow-up to leads and inquiries
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing outreach plan to reach the target audience
  • Develop Buying Executive materials with our marketing team, including invitations, registration materials, executive collateral and planning guide, and other marketing campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing market research and meet market research goals to identify key audience targets, understand the markets for assigned events, including an awareness of the competitive event landscape and the needs of both Buying Executive and Supplier audiences
  • Use a consultative approach to build customer relationships and provide white-glove account management pre-event, onsite, and post-event. This includes setting event expectations with Buying Executives and providing a steady stream of information to ensure their needs are met
  • Research, interview, hire and onboard Speakers for assigned Events
  • Help to recruit and manage Advisory Board/s
  • Identify and support touchpoints to maintain year-round communication with our Buying Executive audience
  • Identify areas to evolve our process and events to improve the experience for all attendees
  • Onsite event management and support

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales, business development, or account management success
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging senior level executives  
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and excelling in the development of business-relationships
  • Thorough working knowledge of Office, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and HubSpot experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, have solid time management skills, and be resourceful
  • Share new ideas, take initiative, be self-motivated to reach goals and performance metrics
  • Top-notch communication and organizational skills, attention to detail including a demonstrated inclination to go “above and beyond” to create an exceptional event experience and provide ‘white glove service’ to buying executives
  • Must be enthusiastic, proactive, have integrity, work collaboratively, and propose solutions to opportunities that arise
  • Ability to travel to Events

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan Eligible

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
