About the Role

We’re looking for a highly collaborative and adaptable professional to join our team as Manager- ETL/Data Services. In this role, you will own and drive end-to-end delivery of data integration and system implementation initiatives. You will serve as the technical leader with full accountability for solution design, execution quality, timelines, and delivery success. The role focuses on delivering scalable, high-quality ETL solutions and modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native frameworks.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the project from a technical standpoint, ensuring end-to-end accountability for architecture, design, development, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, optimize processes, and design sustainable software solutions.
  • Actively engage in technical reviews, peer programming, and requirement analysis while contributing to technical specifications and architecture.
  • Provide cost estimation, lead requirement gathering sessions, evaluate solutions, and recommend optimal technical approaches.
  • Architect and oversee scalable ETL and data ingestion pipelines using Talend, APIs, and relational databases.
  • Track build activities, remove technical roadblocks, and participate in design and change committees.
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, deployment readiness, and proactively manage risks and scope changes.
  • Manage escalations, ensure SLA adherence, and drive continuous improvement across integration workflows.
  • Serve as technical leader for upgrades, modernization projects, and integrations while ensuring system health and performance tuning.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical and functional development.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Architecture.
  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role leading development teams.
  • Strong expertise in ETL tools such as Talend and Informatica.
  • Extensive SQL and data modeling experience across enterprise data warehouses.
  • Proven experience designing scalable data architectures in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience building ML-ready data pipelines using Python.
  • Knowledge of AWS data services including S3, Athena, DMS, EC2, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jira, Nexus, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026

The hiring base salary range for this position is 111,100 - 152,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
