As the manager, you provide the strategic oversight and leadership for the team of implementation consultants whose work fuels the engine that accelerates customer success. This role directly impacts the collective efficiency and quality of how the team transforms complex client requirements into streamlined production-ready environments. By fostering a culture of treasury expertise, technical innovation, and automation within your team, you enable faster go-lives and exceptional customer experiences at scale.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Configuration Oversight

  • Establish a streamlined workflow to ensure tasks are being received and assigned to team members based on skills and capacity. 
  • Utilize current project management tools to ensure status updates and client communications are seamless. 
  • Lead a team of implementation consultants in configuring core treasury modules, including Cash Management, Payments, Financial Transactions + more
  • Play a hands on-role providing expert guidance on building and managing data
  • Oversee the preparation and integrity of bulk data templates (CSV/XML/JSON) managed by your reports.
  • Manage the team’s partnership and collaboration with Professional Services colleagues globally and subject matter experts from other departments

Process Acceleration & Automation

  • Drive the adoption of internal tools, scripts, and AI assistants (TAI, DUST etc.) across the team to improve delivery speed.
  • Champion the creation and adaptation of automation templates for recurring treasury configurations. 
  • Identify and implement systemic process improvements to enhance team-wide configuration and validation tasks.
  • Ensure all team deliverables undergo quality checks and validation before being shared with customers and fellow team members.  

Testing, Validation & Customer Engagement

  • Oversee the design of UAT datasets and test scenarios, acting as an escalation point for defect resolution
  • Run functional checks on payment workflows, statement imports, and cash positioning logic.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure your delivery team is aligned on what needs to be delivered.  
  • Ensure the delivery of clear configuration documentation and professional handovers by all team members.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience

  • 5 – 7 years in treasury system implementation, ERP configuration, or banking/payments consulting.
  • Experience working on SaaS implementations or multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Proven record of driving team performance and accelerating delivery through automation or process redesign.
  • Awareness of ERP data models (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, Workday) and their treasury touchpoints.

Functional Treasury Knowledge

  • Understanding of cash management, payments, liquidity, FX, and accounting integration.
  • Familiarity with bank connectivity (SWIFT, Host-to-Host, SFTP, EBICS) and payment formats (ISO 20022, BAI2, SEPA, NACHA).

  • Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks across different customers and regions.
  • Analytical mindset focused on finding smarter, faster ways for a team to operate.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing both global teams and high-level client interactions.
  • Strong sense of ownership and high attention to detail in overseeing the work of others.
  • Strong Excel and data modeling skills (pivoting, lookup, cleansing).
  • Comfortable working with AI-based accelerators and internal automation tools.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.
