The Manager, Engineering responsible for overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The scope of this job includes leading a team of engineers and technical experts, driving both technical and operational success, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
This management level has responsibility for a team within a sub-set of a major function. The direct span of control typically includes other people managers and/or individual contributors. The work includes a balance between people management and a variety individual contributor responsibilities. Management responsibilities include but are not limited to: hiring, training and development, and communication related to performance management and compensation decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a software development team by fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of key engineering projects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to help shape the architecture, design, and implementation of software systems that adhere to engineering best practices, including code quality, automation testing, and documentation.
- Continuously assess and improve engineering processes from development workflows to deployment pipelines.
- Work closely with solution managers, designers, and other engineering leaders to define project requirements in alignment with business goals and address any blockers or technical challenges.
- Set clear goals for team members, conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and career growth.
- Leverage AI tools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- 6–8 years of relevant experience .NET Core, Angular, Okta/SSO, database experience (SQL Server or PostgreSQL), and cloud-native solutions.
- Claude Code AI First Workflows
- Google Cloud Platform
- Strong experience with APIs and an “integration mindset” for an enterprise-grade API hub (interoperability emphasis)
- Demonstrable experience using AI to increase team productivity and delivery speed
- 2-4 years of Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Referral Management experience a plus!

- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
