Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage high performance team of engineersSupervise self-organizing agile teams
- Align tech and product needs with product leaders
- Take active part in hiring process
- Support engineers in their growth
- Perform 1:1 meetings and performance reviews
- Contribute to overall picture of engineering organizationLead initiatives optimizing our work in areas of tooling, processes, and culture
- Together with other managers have an impact on future shape of the organization
Must have skills:
- People management and leadership abilities
- Hands-on experience in building cloud native applications
- Good communication skills
- Experience working with remote teams in agile methodology
Nice to have:
- Ruby, JavaScript or Python programming experience
- Experience in managing remote teams
- Experience in facilitating cross-team projects
