Job Description
As Engineering Manager you are part of the management Team in Elst. You will lead and motivate the engineering team to ensure they reach their full potential. You manage the capex budget and capex masterplan to ensure the site continuously improves every year and complies with engineering and financial standards within the Kraft Heinz company.
In brief, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the site capex budget and ensure compliance with the capex masterplan
- Ensuring correct project handover to the rest of the departments
- Analysing and preparing facilities studies relative to plant areas
- Managing and executing capital projects
- Managing a team of about 10 project engineers and supporting them in reaching their full potential
- Liaising with suppliers to support the development of capital engineering designs
- Working together with R&D, QA, EHS and Operations to align projects with functional demands
- Managin CAR preparation and approval

- Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Engineering or related field
- Work Experience
- Relevant work experience for at least 5-7 years in a management role in food capital engineering
- Knowledge
- PC software packages, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Language Knowledge
- Able to communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken) and Dutch (both written and spoken)
