The Role
Job Description

We offer a contract of employment and a hybrid work model (3 days a week in the office).

Additionally, depending on your annual assessment and the company's results:

  • Annual bonus up to 20% of the annual salary gross 

  • Long-term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares

 

Allegro’s development teams consist of over 1700 IT experts with various areas of specialization who collaborate to enhance our service. Due to the unique scale and complexity of the challenges we tackle each day, we have the opportunity to advance by engaging in a wide range of projects. We’re seeking a manager for our “Design System” development team, which every frontend developer at Allegro utilizes. Significant changes are ahead in how Allegro appears and behaves for users, so if you’re interested in creating scalable UI code and leveraging AI in design and development processes, join us!

We are looking for people who:

  • Are experts in software development and architecture with experience in mobile/frontend development

  • Have experience in design systems and scalable user interface frameworks

  • Have experience in leading teams working in agile methodologies

  • Understand how UX works

  • Possess strong collaboration skills, especially when working with product management, engineering, and executive leadership

  • Are able to work closely with business, are able to combine technical and business issues

  • Have a strong programming foundation: You're proficient in Kotlin / Swift / React, and you can apply your coding skills to develop custom solutions, automate tasks, and integrate with existing systems.

  • Value engineering best practices: You advocate for clean code, code review, TDD, and CI/CD to ensure the quality and maintainability.

  • Thrive in dynamic and evolving environments, adapting workflows and strategies to meet new challenges

  • Have an eye for detail and a strategic understanding of end-to-end user experiences, focusing on usability, consistency, and brand alignment

  • Communicate (writing, speaking) fluently in English (at least B2 level proficiency), but C1-C2 preferred
