Join our Global Power Electronics Team in Pune as a Manager Engineering Power Electronics and lead the development of innovative variable speed drives solutions that drive our next generation products. In this role, you will combine strong technical expertise with engineering leadership to guide teams in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance, efficient, and reliable solutions. You will play a key role in shaping technology direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful execution from concept to product realization. Your tasks will include:

·         Lead the power electronics engineering team for variable speed drives, including coaching, mentoring, and team capability development.

·         Drive the design, development, and optimization of power electronics solutions with focus on performance, efficiency, reliability, and cost.

·         Manage technical project execution, ensuring alignment with targets for scope, timing, quality, and cost.

·         Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure robust and integrated system solutions.

·         Ensure compliance with safety, EMC, reliability, and regulatory requirements as well as internal engineering standards.

·         Oversee testing, validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities for power electronics systems.

·         Take responsibility for calibration, maintenance, and investment planning of laboratory infrastructure and test equipment.

·         Plan and manage team budgets and support performance management.

Ideally you will bring: 

·         A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Control and Drive Technology, or a comparable field.

·         Strong expertise in designing and optimizing power electronics for variable speed drives, including component selection, thermal design, EMC, protection, and system integration.

·         Proven leadership experience in managing and developing engineering teams in a high-performance, collaborative environment.

·         Demonstrated experience in leading technical projects and driving execution across cross-functional and global teams, with accountability for quality, timing and cost.

·         Experience in laboratory management, including responsibility for test equipment, calibration, maintenance, and investment planning.

·         Strong organizational and managerial capabilities, including resource planning, budget management, performance reviews, and team development.
