What you'll be doing  

Lead the Mobile Engineering capability across teams responsible for native and cross-platform mobile applications, driving reliable, secure, performant, and high-quality mobile customer experiences across iOS and Android.

• Lead the Mobile Engineering capability across teams building native (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin) and cross-platform (React Native) mobile applications.

• Own engineering leadership, capability development, and manager and team development, building a high-performing mobile engineering team.

• Own workforce and capacity planning, cross-team delivery, and delivery leadership across mobile squads.

• Own mobile engineering practices, engineering metrics, continuous improvement, and vendor management.

• Drive reliable, secure, and performant mobile experiences, owning mobile performance, mobile state management, mobile security, and crash analytics (Firebase, Datadog).

• Own App Store and Play Store delivery, automated testing, and CI/CD across mobile applications, using tooling such as Bitrise and Expo.

• Remain hands-on: plan, design, execute, and document functional, integration, end-to end, `and regression testing across integrated mobile systems for assigned scope.

• Use Claude Code for AI-assisted development, driving grounded adoption across the mobile team.

 What you’ll need to succeed  

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on mobile engineering experience and minimum 3 years leading engineering teams.

• Expertise in React Native, iOS (Swift), and Android (Kotlin), mobile performance, mobile state management, and mobile security.

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL/REST APIs, crash analytics (Firebase, Datadog),automated testing, CI/CD, Bitrise, Expo, and App Store/Play Store delivery.

• Proven multi-team leadership, including manager and team development, organization design, workforce and capacity planning, delivery leadership, vendor management, and continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with Claude Code for AI-assisted development.
