What You’ll Do
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class team with expertise in the development of flight-critical software complying with DO178C.
- Coordinate flight software development, verification, and certification of the aerospace powertrain, including motor control.
- Participate in the definition and documentation of streamlined software development and verification processes supporting certifying safety critical software and complying with DO178C.
- Collaborate with the certification and safety team to develop the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC).
- Guide the architecture and design of the software developed in-house to facilitate testing and analysis.
- Take the software through Stages of Involvement (SOI) audits 1 to 4, and meet all DO178C objectives.
- Oversee the qualification of the tools to DO330. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI), continuously monitor and improve our processes to ensure compliance, and increase safety and efficiency.
- Foster team collaboration, and promote and support personal development.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
Minimum Experience requirement: Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Engineering Manager or related job title in which 120 months of experience in C Programming, Aerospace Software Development (DO-178), Safety Critical Software, Software Development Life Cycle was gained.
