We are seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join our Education Portfolio as Manager, Education Support. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the education support team within the School of Medical Sciences, ensuring the effective delivery of educational programs and services while driving continuous improvement and service excellence. 

There is a requirement for this position to be on-site a minimum of 4 days a week, with a 1 day a week hybrid working. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position.

Your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • lead and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence 

  • drive the implementation of education strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with Faculty and University priorities 

  • partner with academic leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhance program performance 

  • monitor operational outcomes, manage risks, and develop solutions to complex challenges impacting program delivery 

  • build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the Faculty of Medicine and Health and the broader University community 

  • oversee education administration, compliance, reporting, governance, and record management activities 

  • champion a student-centred approach to service delivery and operational excellence.
