Job Summary
Responsible for day-to-day marketing of a business web site and on-line initiatives in a cross channel environment. Work with the merchandising team to ensure that on-line content is optimized to drive sales conversions. Work with members of the marketing team to ensure that on-line marketing is consistent with all other marketing channels. Develop and optimize strategic on-line marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention, encompassing SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing, e-mails and other on-line events.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Write briefs and interacts with internal resources for the creation of marketing assets including promotions, banner ads, e-mail blasts, landing pages etc., in conjunction with web site designer and e-commerce merchandising managers and marketing team.
- Develops, manages, and executes strategic plan for SEO and SEM based on results, trends and best practices in the market place.
- Analyzes on-line customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
- Analyzes, develops and implements new opportunities for the brand to reach new online markets and improve lead flow.
- Insures that all offline marketing programs are set up to work correctly on our e-Commerce websites.
- Monitors and reports on traffic, rankings and leads.
- Participates in on-line merchandising strategies.
- Tracks performance and proactively establishes website analytical reporting.

- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
