What you'll do:

Objective of the role: to build up very strong relationship and secure partnerships with various tourism organizations (TOs), e.g. Singapore Tourism Board, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Tourism Australia, Japan National Tourism Organization … etc.

Main types of partnerships are co-marketing campaigns run by Klook to jointly promote the destinations of the TOs mainly through digital channels (SEM, display ads, social, KOLs, affiliate marketing, blogs, discount promotions …etc).

Core duties include all steps in the selling cycle:

Identify leads and establish contact with potential partners

Build rapport, understand partners, and identify opportunities for partnership

Research about partners and prepare for pitching materials

Pitch in person or through emails/ calls
-
Tirelessly follow up and handle objections till deals are closed

Work with internal teams to ensure high quality execution of partnership programs

Results reporting for partners

Market intelligence: From different sources of information, keep track of anything that may affect our partners and quickly identify opportunities or threats.

Networking: Join various business events to build up your own network of people who may help you in your job.

Influence internal teams to support our partnership effort. Collaborate with internal teams to make sure partnership programs are beneficial to them and are carried out in the most efficient way.

Internal stake-holder management: Work closely with other teams in Klook to get their buy-in and support for the partnerships with TOs.

Negotiation: Negotiate with partners to maximize Klook's interests while maintaining a strong relationship with partners.

Thought leadership: Develop a strong understanding of the industry and an independent view of key issues concerning our partners. Be able to educate and influence them. Build up their trust in our professionalism.

Public speaking: Speak at various events on behalf of Klook.
What you'll need:

>6 years work experience, with minimum 3 years in selling, account management, and business development.

Must be fluent in English and Mandarin. Korean is a plus.

Good understanding of digital marketing is preferred.

Highly confident, driven and proactive individual who is hungry to close deals and achieve sales target.

Experience in the travel industry, especially in/with TOs and OTAs is preferred but not required.

Strong communicator in both written and verbal form.

Mature and able to carry business conversation with senior management on the partner side.

Global-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds

A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude and not afraid of new challenges.
