Robert Bosch LLC seeks Manager – Digitalization (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 8101 Dorchester Road, Charleston, SC 29418. Serve as regional representative for the Corporate Department of Data Driven Operations and program of Operations Platform for Bosch Manufacturing and Logistics Platform (BMLP) (30%). Consult and provide guidance for regional digitalization initiatives related to Smart Manufacturing and Information Technology especially on IT/OT Security & IT Infrastructure (15%). Provide regional support for the preparation and technical implementation of ERP GoLive (S/4HANA) and BMLP applications, including work-packages, milestones and checklists (25%). Provide guidance to regional business units and providers on digitalization potentials, capabilities, standards, and data- & information-security across domains (e.g., quality, manufacturing, engineering, IoT) (15%). Support the region in implementing new digitalization roles, trainings, and enabling programs (15%). REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of experience as an Engineering Lead for IT Solution in Manufacturing, Information Technology Lead or occupation involving the manufacturing process controls, data processing, and analysis. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) IT manufacturing, connected industry applications (IIoT/i4.0), or IT engineering; (2) Sales for evolving manufacturing technologies; (3) Industrial IT technologies - traceability systems (MES/MOM), operating and database management systems, and PLC, and Enterprise System Management Software; (4) Manufacturing and business processes competence to establish connectivity and data analytical base; and (5)Learning and changing impact strategies to deploy and guide traceability projects and digital transformation.
