SALARY:  $59,000-$65,000, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:   The Digital Content Manager will lead the strategy and execution of all consumer-facing paid and owned digital media for Devils Backbone & Cisco Brewers. He/she will collaborate with the Marketing Team to grow and develop the organizations digital presence. In addition, this position is accountable for providing consistent and on-going content via all digital content channels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of the social media strategy, including scheduling, posting, and community managing on all current and other emerging social platforms. Familiar with all major social platforms.

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including strategy, design, content, segmentation, and performance analysis. Proficient with MailChimp.

  • Maintain, develop, and optimize the brand website(s), and web based digital ads.

  •  Independently create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content for digital and other media platforms. Proficient with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software.

  • Build and oversee the monthly content calendar to plan optimized content for each platform and digital touchpoint.

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to proactively develop and deliver best-in-class digital content optimized for each platform.

  • Develop deep understanding and ownership of brand voice and knowledge as it is represented digitally.

  • Own the development and execution of social and digital media strategies against key initiatives including community building, fan growth, brand awareness, and advocacy.

  • Act as the liaison who coordinates across departments to source and craft content into a cohesive story that is delivered on business objectives across all digital channels.

  • Collaborate with creative agency partners as needed to create on brand content for a variety of brand needs.

  • Travel required 25% of the time for content shoots and to support Marketing Team initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing management, preferably in craft beer industry.

  • Strategic thinker who can articulate the brand vision though content and digital brand voice, as well as anticipate and identify consumer needs.

  • Creative problem solver who can be collaborative with a diverse cross-functional team.

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to maintain an excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, major social media outlets, reporting tools (Google Analytics), Adobe Office Suite, and WordPress website management, SEO tools and more.

  • Proactive self-starter with positive attitude, and willingness to contribute on an innovative team.

  • Skilled project manager who can direct projects from start to finish.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information in group environments.

  • Analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights, must have solid understanding of social and digital analytics and reporting. Expert with tools like Google Analytics.
