We are seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and integrate best-practices into our software development lifecycle as part of shift-left strategy. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on DevOps leader, with a solid background in software development, a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing DevOps teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Your Impact

  • Implement, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and processes for on-premises and cloud infrastructure used day-to-day by the R&D organization for the development, configuration, and delivery of commercial software solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation across the software development lifecycle, infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment, to improve efficiency.
  • Foster effective collaboration between development, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals and priorities. Develop incident response procedures and coordinate with teams to quickly address and resolve incidents, ensuring minimum disruption to services.
  • Lead the DevOps team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Investigate emerging and existing development technologies that can be leveraged to improve software operation/development efficiency.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a solid foundation in software development and hands-on experience in DevOps practices and toolsets.
  • Experience leading DevOps teams; leading geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills, with a servicing organization mindset.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory, Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding and experience with CI/CID pipelines, Source Control Management Systems such as GitHub, GitLab and Perforce.
  • Experience with container architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes a plus.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Good appreciation of IT infrastructure components.
  • Experienced in scope definition and estimating development effort.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal are required.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
