About the Role

The derivative Operations Team members provide operational support (Trade life cycles support from front to back, Collateral Management and services provider oversight) across the AIA Business units. The key product areas include FX, OTC Derivatives, Bond, and collateral management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collateral operations, including margin call processing, dispute resolution, and portfolio investigation.

  • Perform daily position reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks, MTM, and P&L discrepancies raised by local business units.

  • Handle corporate actions, including coupon claims processing and follow-ups.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely closure of audit queries and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Risk, Finance) and external counterparties to ensure smooth operations.

Requirement and Qualification: -

  • Solid experience in Treasury or Investment Operations.

  • Strong understanding of front-to-back processes and trade lifecycle, preferably with exposure to derivatives products.

  • Demonstrated strong control mindset, with the ability to identify process gaps, prioritize issues, and mitigate operational risks.

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.

  • A flexible team player with the ability to adapt quickly and collaborate across functions.

  • Experience in project management and driving process improvements is an advantage.
