Job Description: The Manager, Demand Planning & IBP owns the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise demand planning processes and the SAP IBP platform. This role serves as the functional and analytical lead for forecast accuracy, demand signal integrity, and planning analytics across Medical Distribution, Kitting, and related healthcare supply chains. The position acts as a critical bridge between planners, commercial teams, IT/data platforms, and executive S&OP governance.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $1400,000 annually plus 10% eligibility for the annual incentive bonus program. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
Core Responsibilities:
Demand Planning & Forecast Ownership:
Lead Process Improvement for demand planning processes across Medical Distribution, Kitting, and Global product categories, ensuring process improvements that enable archiving company targets.
Own Market intelligence process (ATS), ATS error analysis, bias identification, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive measurable accuracy gains.
Support implementation team on Customer Onboarding, normalizing customer usage data and translating it into forecast inputs.
Advanced Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and automate advanced demand planning analytics and reporting for executive and operational consumption, including E&O, service levels, backorders, and inventory projects.
Develop Data Model needs for Planning Analytics and Architecture for Decision Intelligence.
Enable self-service analytics for planners by improving access to account-, DC-, and SKU-level forecast data via enterprise data platforms (EDW/Snowflake).
Translate complex data and modeling outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership forums.
S&OP / Governance Leadership:
Lead and coordinate monthly Demand Reviews, Supply Reviews, and S&OP cycle inputs, including pre-reads, executive decks, and follow-ups.
Implement and Facilitate S&OE and S&OP process.
Define planning standards, metrics, and controls to improve accountability, transparency, and cross-functional alignment.
Cross-Functional & People Leadership:
Serve as the primary demand planning partner to Commercial, Supply Planning, Distribution, Market Intelligence, and Finance teams.
Mentor planners and analysts, assigning complex analytical work and ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.
Proactively identify risks, capacity constraints, and planning gaps, escalating with data-backed recommendations.
Required Skills & Capabilities:
Deep expertise in demand planning, forecast accuracy, and S&OP within complex distribution environments.
Advanced SAP IBP functional knowledge, including statistical forecasting and planning workflows
Strong analytical skills across Excel, enterprise data warehouses, and automated reporting solutions
Ability to translate complex analytics into executive-level insights and decisions
Proven cross-functional leadership and process transformation experience
Prior Medical Distribution experience preferred.
Power user of: Alteryx, SQL, PBI.
