Join a dynamic team that shapes Deliveries' (includes GrabFood and GrabMart) regional strategy. We are instrumental in steering the business direction, ensuring that we enhance our value proposition to customers while staying ahead in a competitive market. We are dedicated to driving growth and innovation, working collaboratively across functions to deliver impactful plans and results.

Get to know the Role

As a Strategy Manager on the Regional Deliveries team, you will help shape Deliveries' direction by identifying opportunities for growth, mitigating risks, and driving strategic plans. You will work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to implement the strategy that positions Deliveries as a leader in the competitive landscape. You will report into the Head of Online Deliveries Strategy and be based onsite in Grab Bangkok office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will analyse external trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to identify growth opportunities and potential business threats.
  • You will develop and articulate Deliveries' competitive positioning, setting priorities that align with our goals.
  • You will lead the strategic planning process, including developing business cases, scenario planning, and creating strategic roadmaps that guide the business forward.
  • You will establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans and make data-driven adjustments.
  • You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate strategy, gain buy-in, and manage expectations across all levels.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have at least 6 years of experience with the ability to track and analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities and threats.
  • You have the expertise in developing a competitive positioning strategy that aligns with overarching goals and experience leading strategic planning processes, including the development of business cases and strategic roadmaps.
  • You have the capability to establish and utilise metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic plans.
  • You are proficiency in engaging with and influencing stakeholders at different levels of the organisation to drive strategy adoption.
  • You can identify key drivers, and create actionable strategies based on data insights.You can think long-term, making informed trade-offs between short-term gains and long-term growth. You also able to balance diverse needs within the business.
