Primary Function
The Manager Data Integrity - Operational Controls is responsible for the stewardship of business process exceptions and illogical condition rules within our servicing organization. This role involves leading a team of analysts and collaborating with various servicing departments to identify and rectify data anomalies. In addition, the Manager Data Integrity - Operational Controls will oversee an expanding offshore team tasked with clearing large exception volumes and ensuring their progress is tracked effectively. The Manager Data Integrity - Operational Controls will play a critical role in identifying trends in exception data, reporting to management on the success of role clearance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with poor data and business process exceptions.

Principal Duties
- Lead and manage a team of data analysts focused on clearing business process exceptions and illogical conditions observed in the servicing system of record.
- Collaborate with servicing departments to identify and understand existing business rules and exceptions, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the process.
- Work closely with servicing departments to create new rules and identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing rule sets.
- Develop and implement procedures, best practices, and job aides to streamline the process of evaluating and clearing exceptions.
- Oversee and coordinate with an offshore team responsible for clearing large exception volumes, ensuring progress is tracked and evaluated through scorecards and other performance metrics.
- Analyze data integrity reports and identify trends or patterns of data inconsistencies, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate team members on data integrity protocols, exception handling, and rule creation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data validation systems, automate processes, and optimize data integrity workflows.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data management to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of data integrity practices.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Management.
- 6-8 experience in data management, data integrity, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in mortgage servicing operations.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Familiarity with compliance, internal audit, and legal processes and requirements related to data integrity and business process exceptions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of analysts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with offshore team management and proven ability to track progress and provide effective supervision.
- Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in data integrity and quality management.
