Join our team as a Manager where you will lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics and engineering solutions for media marketing mix optimization. The ideal candidate is a passionate and results-oriented Data Engineer with a proven track record of building analytics pipelines, Analytics products, and Insights for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement end-to-end analytics solutions to support commercial business objectives, including data curation, data analysis and manipulation and deployment.
- Develop pipelines and drive foundation for the implementation of media mix modeling and marketing analytics solutions.
- Has good understanding of media data integration, campaign performance, and resource allocation across digital, TV, print, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with our Data science, performance insights and brand-facing Insights & Strategy teams to build analytics solutions for specialized Global markets and commercial business units.
- Develop and maintain reusable analytics assets, custom data pipelines, and dashboards for media performance tracking and visualization.
- Partner with enterprise Digital Engineering team to identify and source data from centralized data warehouses.
- Actively contribute to Analytics team and project documentation and playbooks.
Technical skills and competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Solid experience in SQL, data manipulation and Business Intelligence tooling and pipeline development.
- Understanding of Agile, SDCL, CI/CD is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and interactive analytics.
- Experience working in agile setting or bringing agile best-practice mentorship to the team.
- Familiarity with data privacy standards, pharma industry practices/GDPR compliance is preferred.
- Strong understanding of media data sources (ad impressions, GRPs, reach/frequency, digital analytics, social listening, CRM).
- Ability to architect scalable data solutions and automate analytics workflows.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of combined Analytics Data Engineering, Data analysis, Business intelligence or Analytics development experience
- Recent Healthcare Life Sciences (pharma preferred) and/or commercial/marketing experience industry experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related Health Sciences field.
- Expert proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Media analytics platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with other internal and external teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Industry experience in media, advertising, or marketing analytics coupled with basic understanding of the pharma domain.
- Consulting experience and project management skills.
- Familiarity with media datasets (Nielsen, Kantar, ComScore, digital ad platforms, CRM, social media analytics).
